Are you a local cabinet maker?
Yes. We are based in Long Hanborough on the Oxfordshire border — conveniently located to serve Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and the surrounding Home Counties. We have been making bespoke fitted furniture for over 20 years.
Do you make truly made-to-measure furniture?
Yes. Every piece is built from scratch for the exact dimensions of your room. We do not stack standard-sized cabinets together to fill a space and disguise the gaps with filler panels — every single measurement is taken from your room and every panel is cut specifically for it.
How is your furniture made?
All our furniture is full carcass construction — every unit is built as a complete structural box with back panel, base, top, and sides before the doors are fitted. We manufacture everything in our Oxfordshire workshop, not on site in your home, giving us complete control over quality and finish.
What finishes do you offer?
We finish all our furniture in a hard-wearing workshop lacquer applied by spray in a controlled environment. We colour-match to any shade from Farrow and Ball, Little Greene, Dulux, Fired Earth, or any other paint brand — including popular choices like Elephant’s Breath, Purbeck Stone, and Ammonite. For clients who prefer it, we can also apply those manufacturers’ own paints directly.
Do you work off site or on site?
We manufacture everything in our fully equipped workshop and install it in your home in a single day in most cases. Compare that to on-site building, which typically takes over a week, involves cutting and painting in your home, and rarely achieves as clean a finish as a controlled workshop environment.
Do you provide free quotes?
Yes. Complete our enquiry form with a brief description and approximate measurements and we will provide indicative pricing. If you are happy with our costings, we will arrange a free home visit at no charge and with no obligation to proceed.
Is your furniture built to last?
Yes. Full carcass construction, premium engineered board, and a hard-wearing workshop lacquer finish means our furniture is built to the same structural standard as high-end kitchen cabinetry. Our painted furniture can also be repainted years down the line if you want to refresh the colour.
How long does the process take?
From initial enquiry to installation typically takes around eight weeks, covering the home visit, design drawing, workshop manufacture, and installation scheduling. Installation itself takes one to two days in most cases.
