1. Quotes are free and without any obligation on your part. We ask that you have at least browsed the guide prices on this website and found them within your budget as our guide prices are very accurate. 2. When we take a job on we ask for a 35% deposit which is normally non-refundable. If extenuating circumstances present themselves and you have to cancel the work we will gladly refund any of your deposit which has not been spent on materials or allocated for labour. 3. The balance is payable by cheque, cash or bank to bank transfer on the day of completion. 3. Wherever possible we prepare everything in our workshop but there is always some cutting to be done whilst fitting and therefore we need a secure outside space to use. Back gardens and balconies/terraces of a suitable size are fine. Front gardens/driveways and 'the pavement' aren't suitable as tool theft is a real threat. Sometimes we can effectively seal ourselves in the room of installation or an adjoining room but it would need to be emptied of all furniture/objects. If in doubt about any of these points please contact us. 4. The more you prepare your home for installation, the easier it is to return to normal life immediately upon our exit. As much space as possible should be made in the room of installation and all small objects like cds, books and mantlepiece photos should be moved out of the room. Whilst we take every care dust is inevitable. We can advise you more specifically during the quoting process. 5. Parking is the client's responsibility for both the quote and any time spent on-site doing the work. Please ensure you have enough parking permits for us to complete the work. We can discuss how long we would be installing for during the quote. Equally any fees for the congestion charge will be the clients responsibility. 6. Unless specified all our units come with a backing and are supplied unpainted. We will supply you with a quote for spray painting, however please bear in mind to acheive a professional paint finish on a full height bookshelf for example, is no small job and can be very time consuming. 7. If we have quoted for painting then brilliant white paint (Satin/Eggshell/Gloss) (unless stated) will be included in the price. If you require a colour other than white you would need to supply us with a color code or sample, an additional cost may be associated with certain paint manufacturers. 8. We take every care to avoid damaging walls and plasterwork whilst fitting but often some scuffing is inevitable. We will gladly make good any marks on the wall but to do this properly you would have to supply us with a small quantity of your original wall paint. Fitting up to wallpaper can sometimes prove problematic and as such we can't be held responsible for small scuffs on surrounding wallpaper. If applicable we will draw your attention to this during the quoting process. 9. Whilst the majority of our work is floor standing we always have to fix the units to the walls and thus have to drill into them. Apart from straight up and down from plug points and wall lights you should advise us of any electrical cables or pipework which are in your walls to your knowledge.
